An organisation of information brokers. Its long arms reach all over the world. Secrets are their trade.

Where can one find The Inkspider?
At taverns, brothels, speakeasies, inns, marketplaces, temples, harbors... places where information and secrets easily leak out. Places where you don't even notice someone who eavesdrops. You can usually find them because their symbol is marked somewhere near or on the place.

What does it cost?
Usually, money or a boon. How much depends on whether the information is high-value or more trivial. Boons is the promise of a favor and it's made between the buyer and The Inkspider. A buyer agrees to a boon with the full intention of repaying them. The Inkspider sees favors as a form of credit.

What if I can't pay?
The Inkspider keeps records of those who owe them money or boons. Whatever the price is, you must pay. There is no way to dine and dash. You will pay what you owe, one way or another. The Inkspider will sometimes allow a transfer of your debts to another person, who, of course, must give their consent to this. You can't just hand a stranger your check.

Refusing to pay what you owe can destroy you. Not only does The Inkspider have nasty debt collectors, but they can also completely ruin your reputation. After all, secrets are their trade.
