1. Saskia Kerraelas

Private A Little Something to Take the Edge Off

Saskia's face was all smiles as they waved Lawson farewell, but as they both continued their way over to the Bern, her face scrunched into a frown. "I look pale? I'm always pale..." It did not help that she would burn under the sun, nor that her hair turned golden and pale in the sun. She was...
  2. Saskia Kerraelas

    Dare Shrouded and Foreboding

Saskia laughed. "Oh I am sure. I have visited quite a few times, I think I know how to navigate the city. If we are lucky, perhaps we could get a bunch of us to go up!" She had visited to places as an ambassador before, often with other knights and squires, and Saskia had always enjoyed...
  3. Saskia Kerraelas

    Dare Shrouded and Foreboding

A sly smile grew on her lips. "Aye, I did." The smile bloomed into a grin. "I always look forward to an excuse to go to Crown's Hold. I can only spare a week, mind you... but I am sure some friends I have there know some people... maybe I can write them a letter before we head out..." Saskia...
  4. Saskia Kerraelas

Private A Little Something to Take the Edge Off

"Oh, I'll make an omelette out of her..." Grumbled the Shadow Knight, who pouted deeply and crossed her arms after setting down her things on a nearby surface as they waited. "I know it doesn't make sense," she snapped at no one in particular, "let me grumble first." Had she spent too much...
  5. Saskia Kerraelas

    Dare Shrouded and Foreboding

Saskia's face softened, and the shadows grew thinner behind her as if to give them both privacy for this conversation. "No." She hated how easy that answer was, how short and succinct it was to dash any hopes her friend might have. "I'm sorry. I don't know if I have heard anything across...
  6. Saskia Kerraelas

Private A Little Something to Take the Edge Off

Saskia grew quiet hearing about Arnold's health. She had come to know almost everyone that dwelled in Astenvale, as in her younger years, she had been a right menace and her name was called out in frustration when one of her pranks were successful. Astenvale became her home and family, and...

Open Big Tent of Horrors: Karn Evahl

Tunnel of Love Their boat lightly knocked into the one way course, Saskia sometimes getting a thrill from it as she still expected something to jump out at them in this lowly lit boat ride. "Where's your light, Saskia?" Kenan asked. She gave him an odd look. "I never had light to wield, only...
  8. Saskia Kerraelas

    Dare Shrouded and Foreboding

A knife... Knife.... Here, knife... The shadows sung to her ears alone. Saskia could forget that the shadows always listened, and that they would always look for something before she could begin to think of finding it. Her shadows had done it for so long, leading her to where an item could...
  9. Saskia Kerraelas

Private A Little Something to Take the Edge Off

It turns out that Saskia needed to think more on her plan. Gruki was right, that Monroe certainly had a name that could easily be adapted to a new nickname, but Grump and Wrath were quite fitting. This plan had to be excellent, and Saskia knew that being partnered to the grumpiest Knight of Dawn...
  10. Saskia Kerraelas

Private A Little Something to Take the Edge Off

"Saints and shadows, Gruki, we are not skipping Bern's. I very well need a fucking drink now." Saskia snapped, the sort of snapping that came with being on the losing end of a bet. "I may need several." The Shadow Knight sighed dramatically, face turning to pout. But the thought of Shimmersilk...
  11. Saskia Kerraelas

Private A Little Something to Take the Edge Off

Sweet, sweet Gruki. How could Saskia fault the lovely she-ork? Have asked her to lie on her behalf in order of simply securing free sweet treats? That sweet Gruki did not hear the plea in Saskia's voice, and shot down the excuse the Shadow Knight offered up. That Saskia felt something...
  12. Saskia Kerraelas

Private A Little Something to Take the Edge Off

Saskia only had enough time to stick her tongue out at Gruki for her I told you so before Reed turned back to them (Saskia) and made an expression of waiting for their (Saskia's) lemon fudge order. Never had Saskia thought anyone was silly enough to fall for her terrible flirting. "Oh...

Open Big Tent of Horrors: Karn Evahl

Tunnel of Love Kenan was perfect. Saskia kept wanting to pinch herself, as if she were dreaming. The day had been a blur, almost a whirlwind, but the company had been lovely. Kenan had been all hazel eyes and devilish smirks, not shy in showing her around the carnival. He seemed to know about...
  14. Saskia Kerraelas

    Dare Shrouded and Foreboding

The disappointment Saskia felt that she had gotten Arbok's hopes up being reunited with her long lost boots was a weight heavy enough that she felt she could sink in the pit of darkness again. Her thoughts were quick to doubt herself, to tell herself that she had just wasted her friend's time...
  15. Saskia Kerraelas

    Dare Shrouded and Foreboding

Grateful to have the walk to distract her, to give her time to compose herself and forget the words of ill intent spoken to her, Saskia peered around at the fields encircling them. Her lips pursed and skewed, eyes of golden delight peering about as she tried to get a sense of where they stood...

Private A Little Something to Take the Edge Off

"I will have my arms free to help hold anything should you need me to. The textiles will be delivered at the Monastery for me. It would be too much to lug back home." She had done so once before, and swore to herself to never do such a thing again. Another time she tried to use her shadows to...

Dare Beware the Haunting Nights in the Acorn Forest

Saskia turned to walk backwards again, frowning at the merchant. She had seen him follow the Knights, but expected him to stay put like she thought he would. "The Syr is right. Perhaps my age worries you, that I lack experience capable of this job." Or that the Shadow Knight was always quick to...
  18. Saskia Kerraelas

Private A Little Something to Take the Edge Off

Saskia snickered, "Weaver's Weekly." She had purchased him a year's worth of subscription two Winter Solstices ago, and recalled how excited her friend had been that every issue would be delivered to him. It was quite whimsical to see the trained silverdoves fly to wherever Roki was every week...
  19. Saskia Kerraelas

    Dare Shrouded and Foreboding

How lucky she was to have made the friends and family the Order surrounded her with. That her sunshine could be extinguished by her own darkness, of which tasted of self doubt. She felt as if she were an imposter every now and then, for she could be so naturally effervescent and outgoing but...
  20. Saskia Kerraelas

Private A Little Something to Take the Edge Off

"It does sound fair," she agreed with a wink, "and Albert only owes coin because I made a bet with him. He bet coin that I could not walk down the stairs blindfolded and arms straight." And he had been sure he would win easy coin that time. Did not believe that Saskia feared very little, but...
