Appearance
Ailuros stands a powerful six feet tall, her frame lean and built for motion. Her fur is soft light-brown brushed with gray, patterned in darker rosettes and stripes across her back and limbs. Her ears are tufted and keenly expressive, and her tail—long, strong, and black-tipped—moves with her moods.
One eye gleams sky blue, the other amber gold, and both seem to catch the light with an almost supernatural sharpness. She dresses for agility: light leather armor, a utility belt, and minimal adornment. Her only ornament is a charm of braided silver thread and claw, gifted to her by her mother during her Rite of Skyblood.
Personality
Ailuros is bound by an unshakable sense of honor and loyalty to those she calls kin. Calm and composed, she rarely angers—but when she does, her fury is swift and deliberate. She believes deeply in fairness and self-discipline and will stand against injustice without hesitation.
Though she prefers solitude and finds crowds suffocating, she possesses a quiet compassion. Her loyalty, once earned, is absolute. She is curious by nature—about flight, combat, the stars, and the myths of old—and carries herself with a blend of soldier’s precision and primal instinct.
She naps whenever she can, refuses to eat anything that isn’t meat, and keeps her armor and fur immaculately clean.

Background
Ailuros was born among the Wildclaw Tribe in Trian Vale, nestled deep in the southern foothills of the Mhearan Mountains. Her mother, a spirit-talker, taught her the old ways—songs of the moons, the balance of predator and prey, and the laws that bound Beastkin to their ancestral spirits. Her father and elder brother trained her as a warrior, teaching her to fight, hunt, and climb the towering cliffs of their homeland.
By her thirteenth summer, she had completed the Rite of Skyblood—a trial where a Beastkin leaps from a high peak to trust the moons’ favor. Though she nearly failed, surviving by instinct and sheer will, the ordeal earned her both humility and her tribe’s respect.
In the years that followed, she became one of the finest scouts in her clan, known for her unmatched agility and clarity of vision. Her talents caught the attention of the skyfolk of Cloud’s Keep, the mountain city suspended in the peaks of Mheara. There she found her calling—not just as a hunter of the forests, but of the skies.
The Order of the Horizon
While escorting a trade envoy to Cloud’s Keep, Ailuros encountered the Order of the Horizon, a fellowship of explorers, relic hunters, and scholars devoted to rediscovering the lost histories of Khurun. Their cause spoke to her restless nature—the desire to see beyond the borders of her tribe, to chase the unknown.
She joined them, earning the title of Ranger-Captain, and was given command of the Silver Wind, a single-pilot skyship crafted by the engineers of the Keep. Her missions carried her across the skies of South Ilica and beyond: mapping ley-line storms, guarding explorers, and recovering artifacts from ruins swallowed by the Shroud.
Though she travels far, she carries the Wildclaw’s creed within her: Walk with balance. Strike with purpose. Honor the moonlight.
Present Day
Now, whispers reach Cloud’s Keep of a vault buried beneath the Mirror Peaks—a ruin said to hold the remains of the first Skybound Beastkin and a weapon forged from a fallen star.
Ailuros has set her sights upon this legend. Whether for the thrill of the chase, the promise of glory, or the call of something deeper within her blood, even she cannot say.
But when dawn paints the Mhearan skies in gold, and The Silver Wind rises into the light, the Wildclaw know their daughter flies once more—
for the sky, to her, has always been home.
