Born beneath the Summer winds, Kilam was raised on various levels within Miraj'Dah. With his winning charm and ambition, Kilam was deeply interested in the crystals that elevated this city in the sky. During his upbringing he made several friends on different levels, a few who sat close with the Mensa and others who worked hard in the city itself. His father was a professor of history in the Spire of Winds, while his mother was of a Noble house. During his younger years, he trained with several of his friends who was accepted into the Shadows. On a small field trip, they had encountered trouble in the desert. Losing his left arm to bandits, Kilam returned with a trophy and concerned parents. Offering himself to the studies of the Spire of Winds, Kilam was granted shroud mail to replace his left arm. Now Kilam works as a Seeker studying and being studied due to the implanted Shroud stones in his body.

Standing at 6'5", he weighs about 235 lbs and is evenly lengthened in limbs and torso. With Tribal tattoos wrapped down his right arm. Mixed into the ink are skin-deep runes carved into his flesh. For his left arm, there is Shroud mail, which the crystal engineers of Miraj'Dah closely observe. He is a physical specimen despite the loss of his left arm. The left arm is a custom mix between crystal and magic tech.
