No one knows exactly what happened. One day, people across countless worlds—heroes, villains, survivors, gods, spirits — were pulled through the fabric of their realities and deposited into a sprawling, ever-changing city that exists outside of time and space. It’s called Threshold—a liminal nexus where timelines converge and laws of physics bend. The skies flicker with constellations and energies no one recognizes. The streets shift when no one’s looking. And the city seems to watch, and sometimes, to respond.
Some say it was a mistake. Others believe Threshold was built with purpose—either as a prison, a second chance, or a test. One thing is certain: no one can leave. At least, not yet.
