Sister Hero Knight Wanted!
A tale as old as the first stories of creation mentions a Queen of Centipedes. The inbetween of day and night was her twilight domain, coming from the shadows to snatch bad children and use their blood for sinister rites. At the height of her power, four evil knights would bring the world into disarray with rot and ruin. Maggot, Flea, Earwig and Hornworm would tear through the countrysides, turning soil foul and destroying anything green.
Four knights would rise up to fight against the Queen's four knights of destruction. The battles that took place would lead to loss and victory but one thing was for certain, together the four flower knights would be triumphant against the Queen of Centipedes when working together. In celebration, the entire land planted magnolias, roses, lilies, and peonies. With time the tale would fade into a story, with only the royal-adjacent Briarcroft family passing the stories onto the later generations.
It was said the Queen of Centipedes would return to wipe out every pastoral field and inch of farmland, to turn all of Khurun into a barren wasteland. In preparation, young girls would be taught swordsmanship and magic to pass onto their children. The elders knew that the Queen was returning upon the birth of four sisters to one of the families, each sister possessing a special gift unique to her own and stronger only when the four of them were together.
Two oldest and two youngest without a true middle child had the entire Briarcroft family take each sister to train every day, hardly giving them a childhood. The only remnants of a childhood they had was when they would all go to bed, whispering to each other when they should be sleeping.
As the sisters grew older, so did their confidence in their pure hearts and abilities. They were sent out to handle monsters and plagues, disarming curses and cleansing rot. Their names soon traveled from mouth to mouth as their feats grew ever more.
Until Albertine happened. The Queen of Centipedes had slowly been tainting the Rose Knight, considered to be the strongest of all the sisters, and crushed her pure heart and resolve. The transformation was immediate - the sister they had once known and loved dearly now attacked them as the Knight of Maggots, forcing them all to retreat. After the three of them recovered weeks later, they knew they would need to save Rose and end the Queen of Centipedes, but in the wake of their defeat, more towns and villages were suffering under their sister's might.
Thoughts and questions plagued them and the villagers they aided. Even if they save Rose, could they keep her from rightful retribution? Without Rose, can they even defeat the Queen of Centipedes?

Hi everyone! Karky and I would like to start a small group roleplaying as close sisters that are fighting against the evil Queen who has taken their sister, Rose, and turned her into the Knight of Maggots. The three sisters follow after that trail, finding towns with unfortunate circumstances that may lead them closer to Rose and the Queen of Centipedes.
Karky has claimed the Calla Lily Knight and I have claimed the Peony Knight. We'd be happy for someone to take on the Magnolia knight. Only requirements are below:
- The last name Briarcoft must be used. The first name of your character can be whatever you like. All sisters are blood-related and share the same father and mother.
- Any magic/power can be used as long as it fits with the rules of the site. Do try to consider something that works well with the sisters, ie, Karky's character will have an abundance of the shroud that the sisters can draw from, my character will be working with more less destructive light/sun magic. For story reasons, Rose is the "strongest" and currently her abilities have expanded due to te Queen of Centipedes.
- You have free range for personality and age, as well as any backstory as you see fit. You can also add to Rose's story as well and use them as a NPC as you see it.
- This will be taking place in a nameless Free State - sisters can travel together or alone. Feel free to place your sister elsewhere to get the fullest out of them.
- The overarching story will involve the 3 sisters trying to save Rose and it is very possible that they do not get a happy ending based on character decisions.
