He was warm against her, both a soothing comfort and unbridled excitement, sweet and salty. He smelled good in the sort of way that wasn't like some thing but instead a command, a urge. Kiss here, touch there, press against this. All of it was thoughtless, arms around his neck, chest bumping against his, hips tilting towards him despite still standing on her toes.

When he pulled away, hot breath still against her face, heart racing, it almost felt like he had done it as a way to tease her.

"Ro-kiii," The demanding soft whine eased into a little giddy playful giggle, arms around his neck tightening to pull his head down towards her. Wasn't it obvious that it was okay? Didn't he know that anything would be okay, that Lou was so desperate to be breathless beneath him she would do anything to keep having him kiss her as he did?

Just as Lou was about to get more from Roki, the door knob twisted and turned. Her green eyes went wide, just as whoever was behind the door made an attempt to open it with a grunt and a strong push.

The squeeze of her arms had him smile bigger than he already ha been. Eyes winked with the big cheeked grin he felt burning across the green of his face as all that breath between them swirled hot.

He was already leaning back in, nose bumping against nose. Nudging up ridge, then the little bump of heads, and spill of hair. He felt her winding with him. Like he was one of her colorful threads, wrapping round and round the spool of her. And she was soft. And warm. And squishy. And he just wanted to.

Pressed up against her. Lips heavy and full. Still tingling from how she-

The door behind them shook. A hard grunt. Thump and rattle. The hard knock of their teeth. Enough to zing.

"Ouch-ouch-ouch-" he said hushed. Shook his head as the door went on with another rattle behind them. Braced her up away from the door and turned her, easy as a dance step. Finger already brushing her hair out of her eye. Concern, full there in his. "You al-"

The door cracked open with the force of something shoved hard to make unstuck. Blasts against Roki with enough force to send him sprawling out. A tumble of limbs to the floor. Stars spinning about his head as he mumbles and mutters something to himself trying to get up.

The door had hit the back of her head, a bright pain, but before she could even react to it, Roki had moved her out of harm's way, quick and easy. Even her ears were red now, Roki, ever her hero, his warm fingers pushing away hair, looking down at her warm and kind. So gentle, so careful, so tender, so...

"Roki!" The door opened, slamming against Roki with a shove strong enough to topple him. She didn't care who had just opened the door, no longer worried about them getting caught for being alone and kissing. Lou fell quickly to her knees besides Roki, a hand going to his shoulder, another to his arm, helping to lift him off the floor so he could sit and get his senses. "Are you okay? Where does it hurt? Gods, that looked like it hurt so much." She fretted softly over him, brows creasing, lips pulled downwards. Poor Roki.

"Dude," Ketyl stepped out from the doorway, holding all the bags that had been downstairs and left on the bench to save seats at the table. The door swung shut behind him. He set one of the bags down, began hefting the rucksack off a shoulder, choosing his bed with a toss of it before turning around and looking at Roki and Lou.

Lou's face was still red, her breath still struggling to catch up. Pink ears peeking out between the lengths of brown hair that curled around her shoulders.

"Shit, Roki, didn't mean to hit you. I'll help you up." Ketyl dropped the third pack onto the floor before walking over to his fellow squires. He placed a large dark hand on Lou's shoulder to keep his balance while leaning over to offer Roki his hand. Lou jumped in her skin, eyes turned downwards, her gaze shifting to the side. "You alright, bro?" Ketyl asked, black brow raised with mild concern. "I didn't realize you were right behind there." His brown eyes glanced to Lou as she worried her puffy lower lip with her teeth, still averting her gaze from the two of them. Eyes went quickly back to Roki, reaching for his hand and looming over Lou, eating her up with his shadow.

There is a ringing in his ears. A fuzziness that fills his head. While something like a hammer, hits, hits, hits there at the back of his skull.

He hears Lou call out to him. Feels her there beside him, sure and steady hands there to hold him up from his hurts. He works up to her, close. Was he ok? "Yeah, I mean," eyes still winced, fat tears from pain there at their corners, smile wobbly, but still worn across his lips. "I mean, I've been hit worse than this," he laughs it off. One hand rubbing the back of his head, where he can already feel the smacked meat of noggin starting to swell.

Ketyl's voice broke through the soft gauze of feeling spun by touch and words there between Roki and Lou. What cotton ball comfort had been gathering, thinning as Lou tensed. Frayed once Ketyl came down to help.

Roki nod nod and took the hand offered up. "Thanks, Ketyl," he said tersely. Chuckled a little as he gave a slight bow of thanks to his fellow Squire. "And no worries, man, sometimes a door gets pretty stuck." he says, hands already moving there to help Lou up. A gentle brush of his own wrist there to guide Ketyl's palm away from Lou's shoulder. "How about you, Lou? Didn't get clipped, did ya?" he asks. Voice warm and bright enough for all three of them. But in that way that rings shimmered through the air when being juggled. Not so bright to blind. Blind enough to distract. Grab attention.

Eyes on me.

And surely, with the grapefruit sized lump bumping out of his purple hair. Their eyes would find that easy.

For a moment, Ketyl's hands doesn't budge off of Lou's shoulder, lingering for a second more before the weight is lifted off of her. Ketyl pulled Roki up easily, tunic taut around his bicep as if a seam would burst, but it had been stitched by Lou so it only tightened against Ketyl instead. Warm hand quick to let go the moment Roki was on his feet, shot out to be offered to Lou but she didn't notice, reaching to take Roki's help. Her cheeks were burning wildfire red, field green eyes searching his face for any sign of pain. She saw it, even when his voice tried to hide it.

"You should be worried about yourself, not me," Lou murmured, hands on Roki, fingers gingerly feeling for a bump, opposite hand on his jaw and cheek to hold his head still. So close and blushing, yet her gaze was serious. "You shouldn't have traded places with me...."

"Naw," Ketyl said suddenly, hands in his pockets. "Doors don't get stuck like." He sniffed, turned his head to the beds, looked at the folded up blankets, sheets smooth, not a wrinkle in sight. Dark eyes went back to the two squires. Both of them smaller than him in some way. "You guys were getting nasty, huh?" Lou turned her head too fast, eyes wide in horror. His lips curled up. "I'll go down there and make an excuse, buy you guys some more time." Quick look down to Roki's shoes and then back up to his face, smile wider. "You wouldn't need more than five minutes, right?"

"You have the wrong idea," Lou's voice was shrill and tinny. "We weren't, I mean, w-we're just friends--" Ketyl held a hand up and shook his head, Lou felt the words dry up in her throat.

"You're right, you weren't. You were just figuring things out about the snacks." He tossed his chin towards the goods forgotten on the floor, the furthest thing from Lou's mind. Ketyl turned to leave, hand reaching out to open the door. He paused, suddenly still except for his hand in the air. It turned so his thumb was hanging, fingers splayed above it. Ketyl only had to use his wrist, thumb lifting and moving as if sliding into the mouth of a bottle like a cork.

"Roki, you should know that she likes it when you put a thumb in her ass during doggy." Hand no longer obscene, it grabbed the doorknob and twisted it, then a pull. Without another look at them, Ketyl stepped out.
