Most nobles are content with simply orders to their servants, yet for some, this rudimentary application of the authority of privilege and wealth creates a deep need to expand their influence further. For Ashcroft, the realm of music performance was the perfect venue him to gesture and have hundreds follow his direction. Most known from within the orchestra's pit gesturing with full bravado and gravitas, a performance unto himself, he is infamous for how involved he is in the organisation of a production. Going so far as to arrange his own scores and theatrical features for himself to conduct, and many say his fingerprints are far too prolifically found, and that he oversteps as a frequent investor and manager of the arts. Often ruined by their own voracious need to meddle and refusal to delegate, frequently a cause for a critic's envenomed pen, yet always breaking new ground in relentless projects, Ashcroft is nothing if not tenacious to the world of music. Unfortunately, his business practices are bullish, his acumen short sighted, and his need to innovate with his signature swagger and headstrong need to secure a legacy. A dabbler in occasional adventure so as to improve his creditability amongst debutants, and to provide some relief to his orchestra from his overbearing nature in such jaunts, Ashcroft is an insufferable tourist to troubles, and endlessly obsessed with sources of inspiration and invigoration. Known as The Conductor, by brute force of self promotion and sometimes used by others as a derisive description of his dabbling tampering and management, Ashcroft is overwhelmingly enthusiastic and involved in everything he immerses himself in.

Fashionable to the point of insincerity, well tailored and well poised to strike a pose, Ashcroft does everything in his power to ingratiate himself into high society. Gilded with gold and silver trinkets and adornments, Ashcroft is rumoured to dye his hair grey himself to give a more distinguished air. A moustache does serve to twirl devilishly, gloves to gesture clearly, he is a blue blood not afraid to bead his brow from wild instructions and tirade. When adventure does call, a cutless more designed as a showpiece is upon his belt.
Personality
Braggadocios, wild reaching in voice and gesture, the man exudes confidence and often endured authority, yet few could deny he works near tirelessly to maintain his influence over peoples. Flippant about fortune or misfortune in favour of relentless belief in himself, the man is a walking series of projects, schemes and ambitions that does gesture, pontificate and direct everyone towards and within. Infectiously passionate yet indulgent towards his own importance, the man very much believes in his own publicity and fame before his own sense of well being. Adventurous and a thrill seeker, the man generates troubles for many, and entertainment for many more.
