Brighid is, by birthright, a member of a somewhat notable merchant family; however, her free spirit and eclectic spiritual leanings has put her at odds with most of her traditionalist kin. She is constantly drawn to wild places, as if by an alluring song only she can hear. Perhaps because of this, she has a natural talent for music.
While her martial skills are very limited, she seems to have an uncanny ability to outright avoid danger in many cases, as if she gleans some knowledge of her surroundings from the natural world. Currently she just sees herself as a bit of an absent-minded daydreamer, and rarely notices what to others might appear to be an unusually good turn of luck.
Her main ambition currently is to find the source of the song she keeps hearing in her head.

While Brighid has a moderate amount of familial wealth to her name, she does not flaunt this, nor does she even particularly look like someone with money behind them; dressing simply, usually in green or earth-toned tunic and pants, she blends right into any crowd of commoners. Her long, light chestnut hair is usually kept in a braid or simply tied back.
She wears a blue cloak and a copper amulet that looks like a tree. She carries a travel pack with provisions, camping gear, and a wooden flute. She also carries a shortsword, a sickle (for harvesting herbs), and a walking staff.
