Dara is short for Darius, who was a king or something a long time ago.
Skills
Chisel away at the rock for too long and blightstuff starts leaking out. Lots of mines shut down that way. But sometimes there's something too precious to let lie. Then they call in people like Dara - kith who know how to get around a curse or two. Ones who don't mind disappearing down some deep, dark hole.
