Sometimes people would mistake Rinnkielo for a a traveling merchant or a traveling herbalist. The truth was that she was more of a traveling menace, to be honest. Still, there were times when even she had to take a little break. Of course this did not mean that she would let her guard down... she could never let her guard down, ever. Partially because the world was cruel and unpredictable, but she also earned all the ill intentions towards her.

Rinn hoped that she wouldn't run into anyone unpleasant towards her while going through Plumhollow. She was not afraid of a confrontation, but it would probably be wiser to avoid it for her first visit. She figured that she would stick out like a sore thumb anyway to the locals, it would be safe to not raise hell right away.

"Hey you." Without knowing anyone, she addressed the first person she saw on the streets... any of them would do for now after all. It was a small doe lady. Rinn was a rugged traveler, worn leather pants and boots and an old linen shirt made up her attire, with a cloak and a backpack. Several pouches lined up along her belt, containing a couple of concoctions... some of them were fake and useless, while others had a proper use.

"Looking for a place to rest and maybe trade even..."

Rho was going to the market place in the middle of Plumhollow, both for ingredients for her meals but also to look and see what she might fine to include in her brewing. She loved to make small batches of brews made with interesting and unique components.

She was walking down the street, a basket for her groceries hung on her arm when a voice called out to her. Rho turned to find a tall person standing there on the road. She couldn't help the surprise on her face, but it was mostly at herself for not noticing the stranger as she was walking. While the tall races weren't all that rare visiting the town, Plumhollow had a largely beast-kin and small folk as a population.

"Good afternoon to you!" She said with a smile on her face as she moved over to stand nearer to the stranger. "I'm on my way to market if you'd like to join me." It was easy enough to lead her toward the market, but a place to stay grew a little bit harder. "As for a place to rest, there is a tavern in town that has rooms of larger proportions. But Ol' Thomas had to leave for a family emergency so the tavern is closed for the time being. If you aren't adverse to a bit of hay and a blanket, you're welcome to sleep in my barn."

There was this odd mood whenever Rinn met one of these small folks. They were almost always smiling. It was so different from what she was used to and she wasn't exactly the friendliest traveler either. But she tried to be... diplomatic every once in a while. And also less paranoid about intentions, they were in a town after all and not out in the middle of nowhere, expecting a stab in the back.

"Fair enough. Show me your market." She nodded and she managed to be... neutral. "You mean there is no tavern for my size?" She raised an eyebrow, followed by a frown. "I suppose that was to be expected." It was nice to have something softer to sleep on every once in a while, but she would have to do with whatever was provided to her.

"What would you charge for a night in your barn?" It almost sounded like the small woman wanted to invite her to sleep there for free, but she wasn't entirely sure. Better safe than sorry, right?

The woman fell into step besides Rho, but with the height difference that meant what likely felt like a slow pace as the doe woman led the way through the streets. "Well Thomas does have a room or two designed for tall folk like yourself, if he were here. That old goat should really find a couple of extra hands to keep the place open when he's not around. It's funny, but this isn't the first person that has had to miss out on a bed to sleep because the tavern was closed."

At this rate, she should just have an extension built onto her own home for visiting tall folk. It would get enough use. "Don't worry about cost." Rho said with a wave of her hand. "It's just a bunch of hey. Nothing special. No need to pay for something like that." The woman looked up with her pink toned eyes. "Though if you are bothered by that, I'll happily take a hand helping out around the place as payment." So often she'd experienced these tall folk getting all concerned about not being able to pay for rooms or food, that she would often just let them so she didn't have to argue.

Ahead voices shouted about various fruits and vegetables as merchants waved their products in the air. Fish filled stalls and someone was smelling chunks of fresh and smoked meats. Fabrics on bolts, simple metal products like pans and nails, there was one stall selling weapons. There was enough variety, but perhaps not much choice in specific items.

May the gods curse Thomas for being away and not providing rooms for tall folk. "Yes, he definitely should." She agreed, if his absence meant that there was no one to handle the tavern, some extra help would come in handy, indeed. To be fair, she would probably have to pay for that and a stack of hay still sounded cheaper.

And it turned out that it totally was cheaper. Rinn raised an eyebrow. She was not really bothered by the idea of taking something for free... that was pretty much a part of her survival to do so. "Just surprised by the offer. You don't even know who I am." Perhaps she was talking against herself right now, but it was kind of... naive to just accept a guest like that. Maybe this woman knew better and they were in a civilized area after all. Crimes should have consequences in a place like this.
"I'm not bothered. But I might help out anyway in one way or another. We will see what you need help with." She noted. Perhaps she did not need to be this... 'generous'. But she was anyway.

"I need to restock for the road. Food and water. Do you know of anyone who would take something a traveling herbalist has to offer?" Yeah, that probably sounded friendlier than 'good for nothing charlatan'.
