Appearance
Height 6'2''
Build Lean and narrow shouldered
Hair Blond, slicked back
Eyes Grey
Tall in the way of Elves, Edd may have been handsome once. Now he just won't shut up about it. His ears mark him well enough – long, narrow and unpierced. The left one has a faint notch at the edge, like someone had tried once. His hair is a pale blond mess, slicked back with whatever he can pass for oil.
His face once had that Elven look that he keeps boasting about. Now there are purple smudges under his eyes, and faint scars where his jaw never healed right. His nose has long since learned it's easier to take a hit if it stays crooked.
The coat he swears is a family heirloom clearly had a richer owner before. Maybe two. The cuffs frayed, the collar overstarched, and the buttons mismatched – replaced over time, one by one. His vest is stitched at the seams, and always a bit too loose, like he hasn't noticed how often he skips meals.
His hands always sport jewelry he can afford – copper, brass, polished bone. His left is always the last thing people notice, until it isn't. Ring and pinky missing, sheared clean at the joint. The stumps are pale and healed, but not well.
He keeps moving like he expects the world to watch – big steps, talking hands, and a head held high. Shame has yet to catch him.

Personality
Edd talks like he's always on the verge of greatness – and maybe, once, that was more believable. He's clever and silver tongued, quick with a smile that holds up to the moment when you check his pockets. He plays the part of a charming schemer – easygoing and flamboyant. Full of stories that never quite line up. Underneath, shaken and stirred, a cocktail of fear, hunger, and immortal hope.
He wants to pay off his debts, but keeps taking on bigger cons.
He wants respect, but lies to seem more powerful.
He wants to go legit, but doesn't know how to do anything useful.
He wants to learn real shroudwork, but never makes an effort.
He wants to be remembered, but changes names every time a job goes bad.
There's a part of him, deep down, that still thinks one good scheme – just one – might fix everything.
But even he's starting to wonder if he's the problem.

Skills
Has just enough shroud to fake a miracle, just enough charm to talk his way into trouble, and just enough sense to run when it all collapses.
