History
Youth
Goals:
- Having a personal library - Iola wants to have herself a big library that she can enjoy reading in the silence of. It would even be great if others could visit and read in there as well, learning as much knowledge as they could as well.
- Living in Peace - A dream that isn't very uncommon to have, Iola wishes for a calm life for herself and those she loves, even though life doesn't always go as planned.
Likes:
- Reading - Reading is her favorite past time. No matter the genre, but she'll secretly read romance fiction in the confines of her room before she lets others see her reading it.
- Embroidery - As one of her hobbies, she enjoys the motions and concentration needed for embroidery sometimes.
- Swordsmanship - Not only does wielding a sword exercise the body, it provides Iola an outlet when she is upset or stressed.
- Oceans - Iola grew up near oceans, and fell in love with the beauty that oceans provide, from their shells to their fish and other lifeforms.
- Altalusia - The young noblewoman enjoys the scenery and how proud her people are of what they do, it fills her own sell with a sense of pride as well.
Dislikes:
- Injustice - Her heart can only handle so much, and someone being harmed, taking advantage of people or things, or no one helping someone in need has her feeling she needs to step up to help.
- Cold Weather - Iola can deal with the cold, but she would rather not be in cold water than a weather and bundling up more than usual.
Fears:
- Onions - A vegetable in general having layers like it already has her feeling weird, but the smell of them is what usually gets her squeamish and wishing to be very far away from it.
- Dying - Much like most people, she fears dying, mostly because of all the books she hasn't read
Appearance

Iola is a slightly tall woman at five foot, eight inches and has a slight bit of healthy muscle on her. She has pale blonde hair that almost seems like it is close to silver sometimes in some lights. Her hair is wavy and goes down to her waist when she doesn't have it put in an updo out of her face. She has slightly downturned eyes with lavender colored iris'. She Her lips are rather thin, and a slight button nose, rounded cheeks, and a rounded point for her chin. Her hands are slightly rough from learning how to wield a sword as a form of self-defense in her youth, despite wearing gloves while doing so.
Clothing wise, she tends to keep herself modest and adorns herself in light frills and bows if she wears a dress, typically trying to wear the least gaudy seeming of outfits as she can. She gravitates more to lighter colors for outfits, with blues with pink accents being a bit more common for her. Occasionally she'll allow herself to wear trousers when she doesn't feel like wearing dresses, and will keep the outfits simple with a white or tan tunic, and a pair of brown or black trousers with a pair of boots.
Personality
As a noble, Iola was raised to be cautious of other people, and it stuck with her as she grew older. She never knows when one may decide to cross her, so she makes sure everyone is at least at a metaphorical arm's length away. Due to her nature, and upbringing, she tends to be rather calm in some situations and will try to use her words to get out of situations if they permit it. Quite often she is found with a book and seems to crave finding new knowledge of any and everything she possibly could. Despite being a noble, she often likes sticking her nose where it doesn't belong and tries to help those who seem to be in need, as well as stop those who are going against the laws or harming others. She doesn't hold back even if the person is a fellow noble person.
Skills
- Speed Reading - Iola usually keeps herself locked up in a library or study, or even her room, just to read. She read so much she practically taught herself how to read rather fast without missing most of the information she needed or wanted to get from the book.
- Horseback Riding - As a noble, Iola learned to ride a horse, part for hobbies, part for emergencies.
- Calligraphy - She enjoys how writing can be viewed as an art form and enjoys the beautiful flourish of the quill and ink on the papers she uses.
- Beginner Swordsmanship - Learning Swordsmanship started out as a way to help protect herself, but she found she does enjoy casually holding the sword as a way to relieve any stress when in a casual setting as well.
- Shroud Weaving - Iola is in no way a master, but she quite often enjoys playing with what little magic she has.

- Embroidery - A simple hobby that she learned as a noble, enjoying the way her fingers work with the thread and the patience needed for the task.
- Languages - As one in search of all the knowledge she can, and a noble, Iola quite often searched for books on languages and sometimes taught herself at least writing a language as best as she could on her own.
