HOUSE JOUTSENTIERNA
Chapoilière Barony, Northern Altalusia
Chapoilière Barony, Northern Altalusia
PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE [wip]
The house is currently ran by the family matriarch, Johanna ‘Niina’ Joutsentierna née Osmanoja, after the passing of her husband Olavi Akseli Joutsentierna three winters ago. Their eldest child, Joanna Annika Joutsentierna has been assumed the primary heir to the barony and castle, while the second child, Jaakko Olavi Joutsentierna, is expected to act as her first knight and advisor. He will most likely be joined in this effort by the third child Jenna Annika Joutsentierna, who, despite her plenty suitors in years past, has remained adamantly unmarried. Not much is expected yet of the youngest, Juudit Annika Joutsentierna, for she is but five and a proper hellcat for it.
For now the siblings enjoy relative ease of living, some having their own estates on different parts of the bogs and woods that make up the Chapoilière barony. The castle collects modest taxes from the largely agrarian barony, the majority of which are delivered in goods that are then traded off — peat, tar and timber, as well as grain (rye and barley), linen and linseeds, on top of different livestock goods. The orchards produce an amount of fruit to supply the castle wine and cider yearlong, though due to the specific taste in the water across the whole region, it is not often palatable to casual drinkers.

[ PICTURE HERE PRECIOUS 8) ]
- skin a warm shade of grey, tiniest little blunt nubs for horns, downturned and heavy-lidded eyes with prominent bottom lashes beneath expressive brows
- bears plenty extra weight, making up in girth what is lacked in height
- a mid-length tail with a spearpoint end, black wavy hair that is usually pulled back with a clasp and kept out of the face with a circlet, cut to shoulder length
- full facial hair; big beard, oiled moustache that curls up at the edges
- pointed ears pierced twice over, fancies rings
- house colours (white/silver, blue, black) and heraldry are often sported, thought as of the current generation black no longer remains the dominant colour — it shares a ratio with blue and both are accented with silver or white, with motifs of swans, stars and firs
