Juniper was once human – tall and dignified. Regal. Now, Blight has reshaped her into an amalgam of flesh and wood. Branches crown her head, as skin has given up to bark in places. Stubborn green saplings sprout around her joints. She moves rarely, and when she does, the movements don't appear to be her own.
Her once regal robes have been dulled by age and herbs. Her face retains a trace of nobility in her high cheekbones, but the impression is spoiled by the many extra eyes – some her own, some not.
The air in her vicinity smells of root and medicine. She no longer walks, and is carried instead. Rumors whisper she sometimes floats, though none can confirm. Wherever she lingers too long, moss and vine begin to grow.
Once queen, now just another cursed green. Not much time is left.
