The days of trying to destroy Honzui have passed.
They cut off a single head and two grew in its place.
The lesson wasn't learned at first.
And now the Holy Lord had eight heads.
Eight hungers.
Because hunger cannot be stopped.
It grows.
It changes.
It consumes.
Kuuga is part of a new generation of The Hungry Eight.
One who does not seek to harm or hinder Lord Honzui.
But to fulfill Its true purpose:
Creating the Ninth Divine.
Once Honzui ate the faith of all;
of Sonshan,
of Aetochi,
of the world.
Only then will It rest.
Only then It is whole.
The one true God, all-consuming.

A short Sonshan woman. Dark of eyes and darker of hair. She wears the ceremonial robes of the Ash Clan. Grey hemmed with Blue. Around her neck hang religious symbols of every faith she's ever encountered. Not trophies. Offerings.
Personality
She speaks like a priest, yet walks like a pilgrim. Never in one place too long. Her faith in Honzui is absolute. No need for it to be loud. She does not need to convince anyone. She only needs to continue her worship. Every act in service of the one true hunger. She is polite and almost gentle. Even as she defiles a shrine. Even as she sacrifices in Honzui's name. Her kindness simply another weapon to mask the teeth beneath. Every religion is simply a vein to be tapped. Each belief simply a stepping stone towards the Ninth Divine. Where others see devotion or blasphemy, she simply sees a dish. So she prays to the Old Gods and the New, to the Spirits of the Forest, and the Deep Between the Waves, and even the imperial Ko. The more she believes in each one, the more she fattens the pigs for when slaughter comes.
Despite her faith. She isn't important. She is a servant, a mouth and a vessel. And if the world needs to be consumed to fulfill said service, then so be it.

Hunger for the Divine
Each prayer she speaks and every holy text she reads feeds Honzui. The more Gods she believes in, the more her own grows in turn. It may simply be a Raakgui at the moment, but not for long. Whether the hunger is fed through reciting a prayer, or eating another deity's offering – whether it's desecrating their shrine or converting their followers to another faith, everything she does serves a purpose. As long as she upholds these principles, she gets the following boon:
Unseen Pilgrim
She is able to temporarily feed her own flesh to the Raakgui, surrendering her mortal flesh to Honzui. This allows her to become incorporeal. She is still visible to other Raakgui, as well as Shamans and all those of the Weave. While in this state, she can pass through solid objects such as walls and doors. Her movements in this form leave behind a trail of of spiritual rot. An oily shadow that sensitive souls can easily pick up on. While in this state, her hunger sharpens and she can more easily detect devotion and faith. This state allows her to often infiltrate shrines and forbidden sanctums. While she does not seek to diminish another belief, as it lessens the food supply – she has been known to desecrate shrines in the past if the one true hunger ever got too impatient. While her body is surrendered, other Raakgui can sense that something is wrong even if they might not be able to trace it back to its source. It seems to be especially impactful for Elemental Spirits – some run away, some gather, and others follow. It is said that her predecessors used the power too much and have over time become completely intangible, vacating the spot for her great work. She believes this and only uses the power as a last resort. In her own usage, she's noticed that for days after the use her skin feels thinner and more frayed. Almost like it's slowly shedding.
