Behind her composed exterior lies a determined and ambitious spirit. She has a pragmatic and resultoriented approach to what ever she takes on and leaves little room for sentimentality. Lysanne is a calculating and controlling woman, politically astute and unyieldingly ruthless.
What drives her is the hunger to earn her place among the blood she shares but was never allowed to claim. Born a shadow of House Tourmalet, she was denied a name and title, but Lysanne refuses to remain on the margins. She is determined to carve a place at the Torumalet table by merit, power, and maneuvering. To become so valuable, so indispensable, that they have no choice but to legitimize her.

Lysanne has the ability to create convincing illusions that affect all senses, making people see, hear, feel, or even smell things that aren’t there.
Illusory Memory Overwrite
Lysanne can merge her illusion magic with memory manipulation, creating entire false memories with the illusion of real events. She can make someone believe they’ve had a conversation with her that never happened or think they’ve visited a place they never saw.
Magic limitations:
- Not always permanent: unless Lysanne spends a lot of time weaving the memory deep into someone’s psyche, people can eventually “remember” the true events, especially with time or pressure.
- Illusions can be disrupted by strong-willed individuals.
- Requires a certain proximity. Lysanne needs close proximity to the target for the most effective use of her magic. Memory manipulation works best when she is physically near the person, even better if she can touch the person. Illusions can be created from a distance, but require her to see the person.
- This kind of magic dangerous when overused. The more she manipulates someone's memories, the harder it is to keep track of what she has altered or not.
- Mental Strain. Psychic fatigue is a significant risk. Overuse of her powers can leave her mentally exhausted, causing headaches, disorientation, and even hallucinations of her own. Frequent use of her magic can leave her worn out, requiring several days of rest and recovery to get back her clarity of thought.
- If someone recovers their true memories after a manipulation, it can create distrust in Lysanne and damage her reputation.
- Neurological damage; frequent use of her powers can trigger migraines. The more she pushes her abilities, the more likely she is to experience seizures.
- If she has to push her magic ability, say to try to change the memory of someone mentally stronger than Lysanne, her eyes start bleeding by the strain.
