Born on the floating city of Kharsaga, Mahsain's family wasn't of any formal importance. Her mother and father serving as members of the various fleets. Often hoping between vessels as contracts finished or explorations were complete. Taking turns to raise the young Devahni when she was still young enough to need supervision.
Her family was very religious, alters to the moons kept well maintained with the alter to the Blood Moon being the favored worship. So
