Born in the Arshakan Empire to a minor Noble family, Moina childhood growing up is as about as one might expect of a war-loving nation. As soon as she was old enough to hold a weapon, she was being taught to wield them. Swords, daggers, spears, bows, there was no limit to the what was taught. The only way to rise in power was to either be elected to Senate or to rise through the ranks of the Karmic Legions and sometimes one could lead to the other. Her own father had attended the Karmic Crucible and served as a Primus Khastri before he was injured and unable to serve any longer. When she was just entering her teen years, her father, in part thanks to his stellar record and years of service, was elected to the Senate.
Her father's dreams of her attending the Karmic Crucible like him and her three elder brothers began to unravel when she begins to show a connection to the Shroud. While not as prestigious in her father's eyes, her future shifts from joining the Legions to attending the Brahman Magisterium. The Magisterium wasn't an easy appointment by any means and Moina worked hard learning how to use the shroud. She end up specializing in weaving spells of healing. A valuable skill for any battlefront legion.
Moina was getting close to her commissioning day, where she would move from the Brahman Magisterium to serve the Empire. However, she would never reach that day. It was only through a small amount of luck and a well timed warning from a friend. Her father had made the wrong enemies and now her family was branded as traitors. She had taken what coin she had and ran to the only place she could think to go, the Free States. It took weeks until she ended up in Crorefell, what better place to be then in a city-state that had broken free from the Empire.
At first, she struggled to be able to find work and a place to stay. Yet a riot in the street was her saving grace. Called into action, helping to heal the injured. Those she helped gave her coin and thanks. It wasn't until after everything was taken care of that she was approached by a woman with greying hair who recruited her to the Boneknitters, a mercenary group renown for it's healing skills.

Skills
Weaver: Trained at the Brahman Magisterium, Moina's skills as a weaver are extensive. She found the best connection in terms of healing, manipulating the body into rapid growth to heal hurts that have been received or in extreme cases to cause harm as she reverses the process forcing skin, bone, and muscle to split apart. Not something that she'll regularly use as she feels it is a waste of her strength.
Medic: Sometimes injuries are minor enough not to rely on her weaving skills, so Moina is trained in the basics of first aid. She can sew wounds and set bones normally. She does have a few tools that she designed and saw built by those with more skill that hold spells to encourage natural healing to occur swifter, such as a rune engraved splint.
Knife-wielder: Trained in Arshakan as a child, Moina has skill in several different styles of weaponry. From bows to swords to polearms, her preference is to wield knives. There was something about having to be close enough to an enemy to shove the thing blade between their ribs that she seemed to excel at. She tends to carry several blades on her person, though only two are readily visible, a small boot knife who's handle normally shown from the top of her boot, and then the Poignard that hung from her belt.
Archer: Her preferred ranged weapon. It's easier to keep an enemy at bay than it is to risk close combat and Moina is very skilled with a bow in her hands.
Educated: Moina spent years first training in weaponry and then was later accepted into the Brahman Magisterium. Here she learned how to use the magic of the shroud as well as Imperial history and about each of their enemy nations and their weaknesses.
