.Wandering through the marketplace in a slow, steady pace, Tairents eyes attentively mustered her surroundings. Unlike many of today's visitors however, she wasn't looking to buy. Instead, she hoped to be bought, or to be more exact, hired. Living as whatever brought her food and a roof over her head, she had been in many roles before, ranging from being a brigand, petty thief, over to a common worker, miner, farmer and even on the opposite side of the coin, working as a guard, either for whoever hired her to traders and merchants. None of those jobs had been a permanent thing however, simply due to the fact that Tairent was too ambitious to remain tied down. Too restless to stay too long at a place, doing the same thing. Too indecisive to fully admit to a single path.
Not that she had had many problems with that approach so far. Mostly inconveniences she would even have said, if asked. At least until she felt something scratching over the scales on her side, a hand reaching around her back, resting itself on her other side, holding her in place as the pointy metallic object slipped between her scales, pressing against her side, not yet piercing her skin.
Tightening up and looking to her right, a mix of surprise and concern on her face, she was greeted by a rather handsome young chap, initiating conversation: "Hey! I have been looking everywhere for you! So good I found you again!", pushing her forward through the marketplace, towards the inards of the city, certainly towards an alley or a darker place. It was then, when her gaze met another womans, a knight of sorts. Locking for what felt like a second at most, she hoped that her stiff motions told what she wasn't able to speak out loudly.
