Determined to see the world that waits outside the settlement, Scamper seeks to be the first Sciurian to brave the world beyond and whatever might come with it. He isn't the strongest, he isn't the tallest, but he will undoubtedly be the quickest to run head first into any incoming danger; regardless of threat level.

Voice Reference: Quinton Flynn

Appearance

Height  Between 3-4ft.
Build  Athletic [9.8 inch tail length]
Hair  Chestnut brown fair, as common with those of Sciurian descent.
Eyes  Jet black.

Scamper, despite his height, actually leans on the smaller side of his kind. Appearance wise, Scamper - as well as all Sciurians, share extreme resemblance to their non-sentient counterparts. With the only difference truly being their size, preference to stand on two feet, and sentience. Nevertheless, to further deviate from the norm (bare with no additional clothing), Scamper managed to fashion a satchel (larger than it should be for him), as well as a green and white scarf that would help him stand out in more public places.

Personality

Scamper - as opposed to his family, is heavily extroverted. Despite acknowledging a potential threat of danger, he's the kind of individual to run in head first.-- At least, so long as he's got a plan. As aforementioned, this particular Sciurian (who hates being called a Squirrel), is aware of his limitations. Approaching a situation with tact, grace, and cunning could potential save his life. As such, he hasn't an issue with lingering in the shadows.

With that said, Scamper is a friendly, approachable, dependable kind of being. He's the kind of Sciurian to get passionate over his friends, despite evil doers, and fight to "protect his people". To him, nothing is greater than the world itself and the history etched within it. To tender to that love, Scamper will always be ready to talk himself into something, even if he doesn't truly wish to do it.

Skills

Gaia's Chosen (Base Ability [Manipulation]) :: - Sciurians, upon their birth - as thanks for their continued and eternal servitude to the world and it's natures, are blessed with a particular power meant to aid them throughout their life. Scamper's blessing - known as "Gaia's Chosen", allows him to weave the shroud to manipulate the nature around him within a 10ft. radius. This currently applies to: Grass, Trees, and Ground (Dirt, Minerals, Concrete, but not Metals), as well as any nearby Flora. The usage of this manipulation requires focus and - should Scamper become distracted, the ability (regardless of it's stage of execution) will immediately dissipate.

Second Wind (Active) :: - Scamper - as with all Sciurians, are excellent runners, more so than their non-sentient kin. Twice per battle, for the duration of 2 turns, Scamper is able to double his current speed by focusing the entirety of his body on running. It's an adrenaline-beckoned ability that's used sparingly, as the strain it puts on his body increases fatigue and weakens his muscles; decreasing his overall ability in any combative (or non-combative) scenario.

Increased Vertical Leap :: - As an evolution of the Tree Squirrel, Sciurians are adept at jumping from one branch to another as a means of travel. This consistent training learned since birth has given Scamper the ability to - in place of an attack for one turn, double his vertical leap up to 12 feet to get himself out of a sticky situation. Similarly to Second Wind, this ability is used sparingly; decreasing his base vertical leap (inherently 6ft.) by 2ft. for 1 turn following it's usage.

Enhanced Focus :: - Sciurians as a species tend to, at times, have difficulties with paying attention and focusing; this can be a determent to those who weave shroud. To counteract this, children are taught at a very young age how to essentially Hyperfocus on a singular task at hand. This has a multitude of benefits in battle, however, it comes at the cost of only focusing on that task at hand. Should there be some outside interference, they would lose said focus and be unable to enter that state again for the remainder of the encounter.
