Tammy Lee Sable is a Devahni female indentured pirate abourd the Boilbilge. She also has always hated her given name, Tammy Lee, which she feels sounds too common and lacks any semblance of danger or power. As a Devahni pirate, she prides herself on being feared and respected, and her birth name does not reflect that. She made the decision early on in her pirating career to adopt the name Sable, a nod to her dark and shadowy nature, and she now insists on being called only by that name. Anyone foolish enough to refer to her by her birth name is liable to face her wrath, which usually involves her fists or her trusty cutlass.
