In the time of Sundering, the paths taken were three
North into the trees, and found our home did we
West into the unknown, their stories lost amongst our renown
And south into the sands,
North into the trees, and found our home did we
West into the unknown, their stories lost amongst our renown
And south into the sands,

From the first moment that Námell had laid eyes on Nárëiel, some measure of precognition had told him that she was important. But while instinct told him that she important, it did not tell him how. So, he had tried to claim her for his own, only to find that she was not so easily tamed. First Nárëiel had matched him one-on-one with her sword, and when Námell eventually managed to get the upper hand with his superior strength, she called upon the earth to break his grip, and blew him away like a leaf in a gale.
A lesser warrior would have given up there and then, or otherwise used more underhanded means to claim her as his own. But a better elf like Námell enjoyed the challenge that she posed, the antithesis to his presumed superiority. And thus, he followed her as she traversed the Desert, occasionally appearing to her in the open and challenging her, where he would prove his physical superiority, and she would then use magic to send him on his way. It kind of became a game to the two of them, and she knew that he would always be near, watching out for her (he had stepped in when the situation required it), and she would occasionally leave something out in the open for him, a token of appreciation and interest, per se. It was a kind of tacit understand, a silent and unspoken bond that grew between the two of them over the course of the greater part of year, until eventually – or so Námell claims – the Gods grew tired of their playing and demanded that they either form a union or never see each other again.
Nárëiel was captured by another wandering tribe of Kaikias, who managed to overpower her through a combination of surprise, sheer numbers and Nárëiel’s initial reluctance to kill (though she did manage to injure several of their number). Námell later sneaked into the camp and freed her, and together made their escape. As the warriors gathered to prevent her from leaving, Nárëiel let loose in a roaring rampage of retribution for the fear they had caused her and left the encampment in tatters as the two of them escaped into the night. But such powerful actions had consequences, and she could only be protected by claiming that a bond of union between her and Námell had been insulted.
So Nárëiel and Námell were united out of necessity, but though at first the union was somewhat awkward – they had barely exchanged words over the whole time that they knew each other – the bond they had formed over the past year served as a solid foundation. And in time, they became devoted to each other, wandering about the Kaikias Desert for the better part of fifteen years, Midnight Warrior and Starfire Lady, until one day Nárëiel discovered that she was with child.

Personality
As one who heavily favours his heritage from the Windrider Tribe of the Kaikias Deserts, Térron’s personality combines the relative openness of the Wildkin Elves with the impassive self-control that the Elves of the Hundred Houses are known for. The discipline that is inbuilt into him as a warrior of the Windrider Tribe and during his time in the Knights of Anatheum has taken root inside much of Térron’s personality, that implacable calm that so unnerves those who rely on expressing their rage and anger. Distant he might appear to be on first sight, but there is a genuine warmth in him if one but seeks to find it and pierce that wall of stone that hides the spirit that burns within. This calm that he possesses serves him very well in the harsh frontier of the realms that he is sent to, stilling his mind and allowing him to think calmly under great duress instead of charging blindly to his death. Yet, in a way, it also can be a drawback, for Térron sometimes is too consumed in his own thoughts and his logic to realize that others might not share the same ideals and ideas, and is otherwise immovable in his own opinions. Now, if only the other races knew about the stubbornness of the Elves ...
Such is Térron’s nature, to be forthright in his ideals, blunt according to the mannerisms of the Hundred Houses who prize elegance and beauty in even the art of words. It is painfully obvious to any who meet him that his forte will never be politics or the art of diplomacy in words, but rather in the keeping of the peace and as a sword to protect those who cannot protect themselves, for there are other ways to conduct diplomacy than mere words. Indeed, he would rather roam the dangers of the deserts and the untamed wilderness to help keep the peace, fighting the evils and the chaos that they bring.
