Yoite
Black Falcon
It was a cold, frigid day within the capital city of Sonshan. Yoite never frequented the Capital unless he was on official business, so there were years when the exploration of Sonshan was few and far between or near and close instead. Regardless, the shaman was adept at mapping out the main roads and alleyways, though some vendors would set up shop in front of a street and disorient him. A large hand pushed back at the feathers resting around his brow, but did little to keep them out of his face. The air felt cool, almost damp. It made him feel itchy, and he had to push back the need to ruffle his wings that were tight against his hips.
Yoite would never have a truly human form ever again after he took the vow alongside his sister, still sleeping from the transformation of shared spirits. There were more pros than cons, at least now he was tall and broad-shouldered and filled with might. He leaned over a stall of Aetochi medicine, dried fruit and herbs promising to fix certain ailments. It was popular amongst the elderly, it made sense why it intrigued Yoite now. There was a certain bundle of herbs promising to sort out heartburn and a bubbly stomach. He often had those after eating too many sweets at night.
He was about to purchase it when a sudden chirp and birdsong brought him back to his senses. Right, find the healer. He had seen her during the Splashing Festival, could probably find her now. Yoite huffed. But what exactly did she look like again? And how would she-- a couple of more chirps and Yoite was already sulking off from the medicinal stall.
"A healer might want to be around herbs," he muttered to the small Sonshan tit that followed him about whether he wanted it to or not. "Not that crazy of an idea if you ask me." Yoite added as he stroked the stubble along his jaw. The black, brown and white tit chided him relentlessly, flying around his head to give both ears and earful. "Well, if you have any ideas, let's hear them." The bird went silent, landing on Yoite's broad shoulder and struggling to get a solid holding until its talons clasped along his collar bone. "Right, that's what I thought."
