Thea Seydou is a Snaremaiden of the Kel Seyari, a tribe known for training, hunting, and guarding the beasts of the dunes. Where others see monsters, Thea see kin. She does not eat meat, nor wear the hide of anything she wouldn’t die to protect.

Her skin is deep brown and warm, speckled with freckles like ash scattered by wind. Her hair is a wild halo of dark curls, cropped short. Her armor may look like leather, however it's not made from the flesh of beasts, but from the flayed skin of the black cactus, a desert plant so tough it must be carved with -something very sharp-.
Along her left arm runs a network of jagged, red scars. Most of them a trial by venomous serpent and the ritual slashes of her coming‑of‑age.
Her body is fed by roots, sunfruit, nuts, seeds, vegetables and milk from beasts who give freely.
