The First Age (Unknown - Estimates at 4000 years E.O.P.)

  • “Era of Promise”​
  • Tears of the Mother, the dawn of currently available records​
  • Large scale meteor shower and destruction that changed the old world, with far reaching effects caused by the crystals’ siphoning of the Shroud devastating ecology the world over​
  • First appearance of the Deva who learned to harness the power of the crystals, forming a world-spanning empire originally seated in the crown, now known as the Scar​
  • Ruins of the Devahni empire exist today in the bones of ancient magitech, in the collapsing wall of the city of Vapna linking the South Ilican peninsula to the Suldazan coast​
  • Runefolk records claim the species to have been yet fledgling minerals in the world at this point​

The Second Age (2000 Years E.O.C.)

  • “Era of Chaos”​
  • The Deva Empire crumbles. Its capital swallowed whole by the seas about the Scar​
  • Elves, also called the Shroudkin, were rumored to be created by Devahni experiments near the end of the empire's lifespan as an attempt to maintain control over their crumbling spheres of influence​
  • It is theorized that these abuses of the Shroud accelerated the decline of the Deva Empire, and contributed to the spread of the Blight​
  • The Shroudkin splinter from the remnants of the Deva Empire, and begin the "Campaign of Purity" in the forests of Silmorael, and establish the groundwork for the Hundred Houses​
  • Fractured kingdoms rose from the ashes; some survived to this day, many have since been forgotten​

The Third Age (1000 Years E.O.M.)

  • “Era of Many”​
  • As the surviving kingdoms grew in power, war enveloped the continents​
  • Cindersend is taken by the Elven House Saerce​
  • The Arshakan Empire emerged in the wake of this war, cannibalizing what remained of the Deva Empire. Since dubbed "the Unification War" of the South Ilican peninsula​
  • The Miradi unlock the secrets of their city. It is during this era that Miradj'Dah takes its first flight​
  • The Kingdom of Altalusia emerged near the end of this era and struggled to maintain its independence against the Empire​

The Fourth Age (600 Years E.O.U.)

  • “Era of Unity”
  • Weavers across the lands learn from the secrets uncovered by the Miradi and their wonder of a flying city
  • Airships begin to spread across the continents, promoting travel and trade across Ilica and Suldaza alike
  • Knowledge is shared by many, culture is exchanged
  • At the western edges of the Arshakan empire, the "Free States" vie for their independence
  • The Northern reaches of Ilica are ravaged by a horrid winter. Raiders harry the coastlines of the more fertile lands to the south, and the lands of Aetochi to the east
  • Conflicts across the Continents break out
  • The sea is full of dead, and the eight moons allign
  • The Dead Wave crashes across Ilica, and Aetochi
  • The undead plague the lands, many factions band together against the scourge, whilst others use its chaos as an opportunity

The Fifth Age - Current Day (350 E.O.D.)

  • “Era of Decay”
  • The City of Vapna is lost in the Dead Wave
  • The Arshakan Empire struggles to maintain its territories, Centeralizes its power in its new capital, Naya Vapna

Calendar​

The 12-month Arshakan calendar is observed throughout most of North and South Ilica. Each month is 30 days, and follows the the cycle of the Sovereign Moon.
