A pale and devious look comes from Vaaga at the best of times.
His false eye is a shard of polished black glass that sits in his head. The tattoo that runs from his jaw to his hairline through his false left eye is a series of old symbols from a variety of cultures, all of them mean "I hate you!" or some version of that sentiment.
His hairstyle is a short undercut with plenty on top to play with that hangs just above his eyes. His features are worn from living outside and while he often smiles there is little joy behind his visage.
Clothing wise he wears a hooded robe with a fur lining that sports patterns of circles on it over a simple tunic and slacks with some heavy set boots for long distance travel.
In his hands he carries a long serrated spear and over his shoulder a satchel of various travelling necessities.

Personality
Vaaga is confident to an absolute fault and combined with his talent at weaving the shroud into ice and wind spells has left him with something of a superiority complex.
Quick to act and even quicker to anger he seems to perceive all hinderances(even ones with no person at fault) as a personal slight against him.
A flagrant masochist Vaaga is delighted by the idea that someone wants to hurt him and will take many opportunities to encourage others to do so.

Skills
Ice Weaving (Prodigy): Vaaga might be one of the most prodigious if not the most powerful Ice Mage in the world. This power and detailed manipulation comes at the cost of forgoing all other forms of Weaving. To save his life he could not create a spark of heat.
Spells known (Minor, these spells are easy and fast acting, able to be cast with little to no effort in quick succession and repeatedly)
Chill: With a simple touch Vaaga is able to sap the heat from the body of a living thing or inanimate object, making it cold enough to freeze water.
Ice Wall: With a wave of his hand Vaaga creates a 1 meter (3ft) thick wall of ice that can be up to 2 meters (6ft) tall and can be up to 4 meters (12ft) long. This is solid ice and as such is freezing cold to the touch though it is subject to the rules of reality once conjured and can melt/be melted, shattered, knocked over etc.
Skate: By manipulating ice to form under himself (or another person) Vaaga is able to let them glide as if skating on ice, this increases their movement speed but may be hindering if they are on a slope or need to traverse stairs or other obstacles.
Ice Storm: As the name suggests Vaaga is able to command the North wind to summon an Ice Storm, this hail of sleet and deafening wind hampers and exhausts his targets, knocks flying beasts from the sky and shuts up those who he has suddenly lost patience with.
Brain Freeze: By focusing on a single opponent Vaaga may give a target a splitting headache(migraine) until such time as he stops focusing.
Soothe: Though ice and wind have their offensive uses it is often overlooked that the ability to heal and mend may be derived from its source. This spell relieves pain and calms the target for a time, aiding in the speed of recovery from injuries and wounds.
Hurricane: By projecting a ferocious blast of wind Vaaga is able to knock a target (up to the weight of a fully grown cow) a great distance (15 meters/45ft). He has also been known to use it to open doors in lew of knocking.
Spells known (Major, unlike minor spells these require a great deal of the Shroud to command and are best used outside where their full effect may be utilised)
Freeze Water: This spell freezes great bodies of water almost instantly. Halting rivers, lakes and even marshes turning them into solid unmoving ice.
Shrieking Hawks: Perhaps the most impressive spell on a purely technical level, Shrieking Hawks of crystal clear ice flock in their droves at Vaaga's command crying out terrible noises as they harass his targets.
Shield of Cold: Vaaga creates a barrier of intense cold in a sphere about himself. This protects him from much but not all attacks as it causes whatever passes it's threshold to drop to sub zero temperatures.
Bridge of Ice: This spell sweeps the target up in a shifting bridge of ice and moves them up to 50 meters(150ft) in any unobstructed direction.
Hail of Ice Shards: A simple spell in concept it creates up to 12 ice shards long as a spear and sends them flying at any target/s the caster can see.
Snow Blizzard: Locks a large area in a localized blizzard from which sound nor sight may penetrate. Those within are battered by icey winds and heavy snow drift, quickly buried in the stuff if not careful.
Crystal Cloak: A magical cloak of shimmering ice crystals covers the target deflecting physical attacks and negating magical ones. However if a magical weapon is used to attack it both the cloak and the weapon break instantly.
Chill Blast: Direct but powerful in its range and devastation, this spell causes an icy blast to erupt from Vaaga's hand and freeze all caught within its field of effect.
