Wildflowers sprout their gentle daring from corners more safe to them. Shade lovers hidden in the cool, while those that preferred the blaze fanned tall in the easy breeze. Tips of her fingers playing across the bolder blooms.
I am like a bee pulled by nectar of these flowers...but the tart bite of a lemon?

"A proper zing," he added with a wink. "Cuts through just about anything," he looked to the crawl of jasmines, sprouting and springing across the crevices of the dry stone fence. His fingers cupped about a bloom, thumb to the pollen, he let it slip, and spread the film over the treads of his prints. Rubbed it into the bundles of nerves at his wrist, "Why do you think that is?" he tried, taking a hint of the sample from his skin. "That you crave such poisons?"
