Venla Thiel
Lettucewielding foreman
"Aye, a girl. They gonna name her Ella." The corner of her mouth twitching up. Venla raised her mug at his congratulations. "Thank you.” she said, and knocked back a mouthful of the bitter ale. Venla watched him over the rim of her mug. Auntie, gods that made her feel old...
This place is about as quiet as a cemetery...
The ginger let out a snort. “Well then, I must’ve taken a wrong turn...” She cleared her throat and looked arround. It really was an quiet evening for a tavern.
Her tone was light. “Just trying to get home...” she echoed. Her gaze lingered on the map a moment longer, then drifted back to him when he pulled it close to him. She could sense the half-truth. He had the look of a man with reasons, and she wasn’t the type to go pulling at closed doors. So she didn’t press him further. Venla sat back again, the chair creaking softly.
Did he really plan on sleeping under open sky tonight? "Try not to get eaten then..”
